Dear partners, volunteer staff, collaborators, students, and friends.

We would like to wish you well, both you and your families, and we hope that you will bear these days of confinement at home with patience and determination to the best of your ability.

We are aware that not all the people with whom SAVE A GIRL SAVE A GENERATION works with (asylum seekers, refugees, minors, etc.) have the best conditions, neither in terms of comfort in their places of residence, nor in terms of work, nor in terms of access to information or resources.

We are being strictly obedient with the measures dictated by the State of Alarm, however following them is not preventing us from carrying out the work that can be done from our homes or places of residence.

For example, we will continue to teach Spanish to each and every one of our students through the different technical means available to us. A task in which the teachers who usually give the Spanish lessons are collaborating. It is a matter of maintaining one’ s mental activity, and of providing us with a mutual companionship despite the distance, something so important for those who are alone in our country and without sufficient information due to language barriers.

Or, for instance, by planning and preparing courses and activities, now that there is time, so that in the future, that we hope will not be too far off, we will be able to launch our projects without further delay and continue supporting African women in their struggle for equality and emancipation.

We would like to offer our modest resources to all of you who are visiting us on our website, and encourage you to write to us in case we may be able to help you. We would also like to address those of you who can help us by collaborating with us through your initiatives and skills in the work that we are trying to maintain.

ALL OF US ARE AT HOME, BUT STILL ACTIVE.

TOGETHER WE CAN OVERCOME THIS SITUATION AND IMPROVE OUR FUTURE.
