Context:

In 2017, End FGM EU launched the Young Ambassadors program with the aim of empowering young people as agents of change in the fight against female genital mutilation (FGM) in Europe and beyond. The Young Ambassadors come from various European countries and represented communities affected by FGM.

The program has had a significant impact on raising awareness about FGM, reaching key audiences from affected communities to European leaders. One of its biggest achievements was the Purple Chair project, a series of videos on critical issues related to FGM.
