JOURNEY TO UHURU is a psychosocial accompaniment and community co-creation project of the NGO Save a Girl Save a Generation and the “Ojos de Cambio” Cultural Association that, through participatory art, wants to bring the reality of African migrant women closer to the citizenship.

Women who have suffered all kinds of gender violence and who are in a state of vulnerability WILL CREATE, together with different artists, a safe space of trust in which they can express themselves freely, give free rein to their imagination, and give new meaning to their migratory mourning and weave networks of mutual support that favor insertion and social cohesion in our society.

Uhuru in Swahili means Freedom.
